We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired word of God and the sole basis for our beliefs and practices. First Baptist Church, La Feria, subscribes to the doctrinal statement of "The Baptist Faith and Message" adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention on May 9, 1963. We believe  in the one and only God and the trinity of God. We believe that eternal salvation is offered freely to all believers in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe in the priesthood of the believer, the autonomy of the local church, and in the freedom of and for religion.
